Powoden Energie- & Bautechnik GmbH stands for tailor-made solutions in the construction and assembly sector – with a focus on cable assembly, industrial cable laying, kilometer-long construction site cables including protection, cable pulling of all kinds, steel and special construction, assembly of steel structures and work in substations and mobile phone systems.
What sets us apart is the combination of many years of experience, careful planning and safe implementation. In this way, we not only create a reliable working environment for our employees, but also ensure structured and smooth processing of our projects. Numerous well-known companies have been relying on our adherence to deadlines and reliability for decades.
The foundation was laid in 1991 by Peter Powoden, when he implemented the first projects on behalf of Telekom Austria with a mini-excavator. In 1998, the construction company was founded, which was re-established in 2010 by Peter and Corina Powoden as Powoden Bau GmbH. Since then, the family business has grown continuously – supported by experienced teams and a long-standing, strong partner network.
In 2024, the company was renamed Powoden Energie- & Bautechnik GmbH to clearly reflect the increasing focus on cable pulling up to 400 kV, steel assembly and dismantling. Today, we work closely with energy suppliers and are regularly deployed in substations, under overhead lines, in energy tunnels and tunnels.
Through consistent investment in state-of-the-art equipment and a high-performance fleet of vehicles, we ensure that we are equipped to meet future challenges – such as increasing energy requirements, larger cable drums and cable diameters. This creates the basis for a successful and sustainable future for our family business.
